Articles are used before nouns or noun equivalents and are a type of adjective.

Filipino Articles: Si, Ang

Singular Plural
Si Sina
Ang Ang mga

Si and Sina

Si → used before a name of a person

Sina→ used before the names of two or more persons

Examples:

  1. Sina Luna at Milo ay magkaibigan

    Luna and Milo are friends

  2. Si Maria ay pupunta sa Manila

    Maria is going to Manila
